She began her Noble career back in 2005, when she was one of the original members of the CultureWaves team and has spent much of her time at Noble integrating consumer insights into client business. As a new mom to a baby girl and long-time mom to two long-haired wiener dogs, Allison is living life to the fullest.
Amber Hensley
Director, Public Relations
As Director of Public Relations, Amber oversees a team of PR professionals specializing in media relations; events, sponsorships and philanthropic management; and social media. Having grown up on a family farm, she completely understands the farm to fork concept (sorry pigs and cows). Amber brings that strong Midwestern work ethic to her role and delights in finding and executing the perfect earned media strategies for her clients. The Public Relations Group works with some of the nation’s top companies and brands including Dairy Farmers of America, Folgers, M&M/MARS, Share Our Strength, Smith & Wollensky, Smucker’s, Potbelly Sandwich Shops, Uncle Ben’s and Ventura Foods.

Denis Naylor
Executive creative Director, Chicago
Denis started his career at the Leo Burnett Company and created a campaign, Dig’em The Frog, for Kellogg’s Smacks cereal that’s still running today. He’s one of Noble’s key creative thinkers and writers. Denis says he owes his long, successful career to treating the advertising game like playing Major League Baseball. “You have to be ready to play every day,” he says, “And duck the high hard ones.”
Dennis Gillespie
SVP, Creative Director
Dennis began his advertising career in Hawaii and, despite Chicago winters, has never lost the spirit of Aloha. He writes and directs work for Noble’s service clients and focuses on giving distinct and consistent voice to brands. Like many of us, Dennis has advanced by degrees, including a doctorate in English. Currently he seems preoccupied with his shelter dog, Mr. Bingley. Occasionally, he mentions his five children.
Dex Ballard
Digital Strategist
A transplant from Boulder Colorado, Dex brings fresh energy to the Noble team. At CU-Boulder he double majored in international affairs and political science; minored in technology, arts, & media; and received certificates in international media and peace & conflict studies. Steep deadlines and piles of work never kept Dex out of the continental divide with his dog Lou. Dex has traveled the world and helped produce documentaries, stories, and web projects for various causes–while directing research committees for National Model United Nations in New York City along the way. When he’s not off the grid living off the land, he works long and late for Noble engagement.
Dick Sanderson
President, Chicago
Dick Sanderson is passionate about classic cars, golf, music and advertising! Our ‘mad man’ brings his client and agency experience to the overriding task of helping clients achieve their business goals.
Yep.

Jim Crowell
Associate Creative Director, Copywriter
With his creativity, insight, and brand-positioning expertise, Jim has held many leadership titles at Noble. But it’s his powerful writing style, his keen way of uncomplicating things, and his heartfelt passion for the business that have endeared him to countless clients, won Effie Awards for advertising effectiveness, and made him a long-standing treasure in our agency family. Best of all, if you’ve got a really, really tall order to fill, at 6 feet 5 inches, he’s your guy.
John Scroggins
VP, Integrated Communications
An 18-year Noble veteran, John helps clients tell their brand stories through both paid and earned media. It’s his job to ensure messages ring loud and clear no matter what communications method is employed. That means he finds himself ear deep on a daily basis (and that’s no small task at 6’ 6”) in traditional media, digital environments and social platforms. His clients include American Dairy Farmers, Grande Cheese, Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group, Smucker’s, M&M/Mars, Truitt Bros. and Ventura Foods. He’s also the client lead for Noble’s work with Share Our Strength, raising awareness (and funds) to end childhood hunger in America. You can follow him on Twitter @ScrogDogg.
Karen Frost
Vice President, Creative Director
Karen began her career by doing award-winning work as an intern at TBWA. Her creative awards continued at D’Arcy (DMB&B), several other agencies and now here at Noble. Being a twin gives Karen, as she says, a real desire to prove no two products or projects are exactly alike. She strives for and achieves creative originality in all she does—and absolutely loves the challenge of the never-a-dull-moment world of advertising.

Katy is part of both account service and CultureWaves teams, providing strategy building services and new product ideation sessions, so she understands the importance of integrating consumer insights into clients’ brand-building strategies. She may juggle many concepts and strategies, but never drops the ball in client business.
Kay Logsdon
Senior Writer, Food Channel
Give Kay a good culinary mystery and she’ll figure it out—whether it’s a book downloaded to Kindle or identifying a food trend just over the horizon. She’s the voice behind much of the work on foodchannel.com, where we not only develop recipes but also cook up many of our digital and social media strategies as an agency. She holds an M.A. in Integrated Marketing and is considered an expert in strategic planning and digital marketing for government, business and the not-for-profit worlds.

Kirk Banasik

As an eternal optimist, Kirk not only believes that loyal brand consumers can help create sustainable revenue growth; he also believes in the Chicago Cubs. Smucker Company, M&M Mars, Burger King, Sonic, Chile’s, U.S. Foods and many more. Her commitment to marketing and program development have made her a woman with a plan. Give her a quad shot latte and 24 hours, and she’ll accomplish more than most people do in a month.
Leslie Hutter
SVP, Insights and Strategy
During her 20-plus years at Noble, Leslie’s unique strategic planning skills helped establish Noble as a successful brand-building agency. Her ongoing leadership in helping teams understand consumer insights continues to make our clients’ brands grow. She also led the team of cultural investigators and insight analysts that invented CultureWaves™. All that while being a parent of two sets of twins! Does she know how to manage challenges? In a word—yes!
Locke Hilderbrand
Insights Manager, CultureWaves
Locke’s day-to-day life is about mixing dualities, finding relevance and mapping out the next big thing. He spends his time watching over pop-culture and keeping an eye out for behavior patterns, all an effort to make his clients look smarter and well ahead of the curve. Somewhere between being a culture scout, an online activist, a gamer, and a retronaut; he enjoys sleeping—when the duality permits.
Maggie McKeon
Art Director
Maggie McKeon, Digital Designer/Art Director, represents the next generation of Internet conceptualists, integrating technology and artistry. With her art degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison she went on to work for several Chicago firms before joining Noble Chicago, perfecting all forms of web deign, from flash to mobile apps, supporting client categories including sports, food and public transit. She’s a great listener, when she’s not a music producer — electric guitar mostly.
Maren Woodlock
VP, Media Director
Maren has spent her entire media career in agencies both big and small, in media only companies, and ten years on the client side as Director of Advertising Services. Her leadership comes from her passion. She loves media because it’s never the same, never boring, always growing—like the organic garden she also loves. She spends her off media hours raising, cooking and canning wonderful goodies from that garden.
Michael Jensen
VP, Group Account Director
As director of Noble’s Services practice – whether financial services, 3D printing, mass transit or other services industries – Michael is a master of leading teams in helping to solve clients’ marketing problems. His insistence on delivering results doesn’t diminish his lifelong passion for the Chicago Cubs; and often in the summer you’ll find him commiserating with his fellow fans at Wrigley Field, just a mile from his home.
Nancy Banasik
SVP, Account Planning
Early morning hot yoga boot camp isn’t for everyone—but that’s how Nancy likes to start her day. Then she moves on to two more of her passions: positioning brands and research. Oh, and not to be overlooked. She loves the adventure and thrill of the hunt for the biggest and best creative idea. Zen and killer instinct. She lives her life with that rare balance of both.
Richard Pitman
VP, Management Supervisor
A true Southerner, his energy and hospitality roots show with exceeding client expectation and what drives such strong partnerships with his client service and business development roles. A 25 year marketing veteran, he has worked in every food channel on both the client and agency side. From research and field marketing with Hardee’s to brand merchandising with Oscar Mayer. And he has been rewarded for it with Effies, Art Director’s Club, Andy’s and Telly’s along with an International Advertising Federation Gold award. When not at work, Ron is quite busy with his Antique wood boat and vintage car – basically things that are nice to look at but seldom work.
Ruth Coyne
Group Account Director
Ruth Coyne is Noble’s L.A. Connection. Originally a New Yorker, Ruth made the easy transition to sun, sand and the UCLA Bruins long ago. She now services our clients out west with New York intensity sprinkled with LA calm. Having worked as a Marketing Director for a major food company for over 10 years, Ruth has a firm grasp of the demands of her clients. Marketing strategy that leads to results, launching new products, and integrated planning and activities that get you the most bang for your buck are her specialties. Extreme Boot Camp at 6:00 AM and two daughters is what keeps her centered.
Susan Schmidt
Creative Director, Chicago
Susan is a strong creative and strategic thinker known for her unique visual solutions…and occasional clever headline. Her seemingly unlimited energy powers her to be the “hands on leader” in projects, start to finish, grabbing awards year after year. How does she do it? Maybe it’s the fact that she loves the outdoors and completely absorbs each and every experience—from climbing mountains to zipping through the streets of Chicago on her rollerblade commute everyday.
Tiffany White
Management Supervisor
During the past 18 years, Tiffany has been building her unique food marketing perspective with a combination of agency, manufacturer, and distributor experience. That experience includes working as a Marketing Associate for Sysco Foods, a national account manager for Tyson Foods, and more than 10 years agency experience on business-to-business and retail brands providing insightful leadership and great enthusiasm for her clients’ brands. She’s covered a lot of ground over the course of her career, which must be due to that Earnhardt lineage.
